This past Saturday, I had a table at the CozyClub Mini-Con hosted by Kensington Publishing and the Mechanicsburg Mystery Bookshop. It was such a lovely event, and I'm so thankful and appreciative to the bookshop for inviting me to participate.
There were 12 cozy mystery authors from Kensington at the event who were able to chat with the attendees and sign books. Then, to make everything super fun, there were 2 speed-dating sessions! Each author went to a table to introduce themselves, talk about their books, and answer questions. Then, every 5 minutes, the authors rotated and switched tables.

It was so fun to watch the speed-dating! Everyone was so excited to meet & speak with the authors. The image above shows author Julia Henry chatting with a group of readers.

I had lots of visitors at my table and telling you they lapped up my candles is an understatement. I sold out of 6 scents and nearly sold out of 7 scents!
But that wasn't the best part!
Cozy mystery author, Christin Brecher came and introduced herself! She writes cozy mysteries about a candle maker! I've actually read 2 of her books, Murder's No Votive Conficence and Murder Makes Sense. I loved them and am not going to lie when I tell you I've secretly dreamed of having a shop just like candle maker & amateur sleuth, Stella Wright.
It was a thrill to meet Christin! We had a long chat, and I can't give any spoilers, but let's just say that there might be something fun coming in the future!
I had such a wonderful time at the CozyClub Mini-Con, and now I've got to get to work restocking my candles!
