United for Ukraine

United for Ukraine

I have always been proud of my Ukranian heritage. Remembering and keeping our Ukranian traditions alive was a huge part of my childhood, and I still keep them alive in honor of my parents, grandparents, and family in Ukraine.

The events of this past week have been difficult to digest, and I can't begin to imagine how horrible this war is for the Ukranian people. I have seen many pictures, Tweets, videos, etc. from people in the Ukraine or those who have found safety and shelter in other countries, and my heart aches for them.

I've been through various emotions this past week, ranging from anger, to frustration, to helplessness. It has warmed my heart to see the countries, businesses, and people rising up in support of Ukraine, but I couldn't help but feel that it wasn't enough. That it wouldn't be enough. That Ukraine was still alone.

But events have continued to unfold, and I have been inspired and humbled by the determination shown by Ukraine's president, military, and people. Their sacrifice and unwavering fighting spirit has shown me that although we may be far apart, I can fight for Ukraine.

We can fight for Ukraine.

Not with guns, but with our voices.

Yesterday, I set up a Tiltify campaign to benefit Project HOPE's Ukraine Crisis Campaign. Our fundraiser will start on Monday 2/28 during an 8-hour marathon stream on Twitch and will continue as long as the Ukranian people need our aid.

Project HOPE is delivering urgent aid to children and families in Ukraine. All funds raised will directly support Project HOPE's Ukraine response efforts.

Once I receive the materials, I'll be working on a Woodland Frog cross stitch by Ukranian designer Stitchy Princess during many of our charity streams. I also have a reward set up in the Tiltify where you can choose to receive a FINISHED Woodland Frog piece for a $50 donation!

I hope that you'll join with me in supporting Ukraine. Every dollar truly makes a difference and will help provide medical materials & other aid.

If you don't have the funds to donate, you can still help! Watch our streams on Twitch, host, share Tweets & other social media posts about our fundraiser. Each one of these things increases awareness & viewership which will get our efforts in front of more eyes. And in turn, means more aid for the people of Ukraine.

Thank you in advance for your support. Let's join together for Ukraine, its people, and the world.
